After you fight and kill the first tank in the first check point once you get to the second check point there will be a second tank. Kill the guys as you walk in but once you go that you should find a gun you can't pick up on the ground. Stand right on top of it. As the very edge of the screen on the right there should be a tank. The tank will not see you right there but you can still hit it with your gun. Just stand there until you kill the tank then move on.

Get a friend to come over. He moves your guy and you shoot. My friend and I got so far by doing this.
